A Belt Conveyor, often referred to simply as a conveyor, represents a seamlessly operational transportation device incorporating both load-carrying and propelling functions through the utilization of a continuous, flexible closed belt. This belt, fully supported by rollers along its entire length, initiates motion by means of the friction generated between its surface and the drive pulley.

Comprising several integral components, Belt Conveyors consist of: the conveyor belt itself, the driving mechanism, a housing equipped with roller support, and sections for loading and tensioning. Additionally, these conveyors are equipped with belt catchers and cleaning mechanisms positioned along the conveyor belt. The driving unit is comprised of a motor, gearbox, clutch, and a drive drum. Loading devices are designed as receiving funnels, whose sides are engineered to direct the flow of goods efficiently. The tensioning section employs a screw tensioning mechanism.

Closed conveyors boast airtight seals, serving multiple purposes such as internal dust protection and safeguarding the working product when the conveyor is installed in open-air environments, preventing both settling and product loss.
