CERES grain storage silos are specially designed to safely store various types of grain and granular materials for long periods. The walls of the grain storage silo are made of corrugated steel sheet, which is obtained from reliable steel suppliers, with preliminary galvanizing of steel rolls.
The material complies with the quality standard, in particular, steel S450 + Z600 is used according to the EN-10346.
Corrugated steel has the following parameters:
a wave length of 106 mm and a depth of 13 mm, which provides a useful sheet height of 1 166 mm and a useful length of 3 140 mm.
The thickness of wall sheets can vary from 0.8 mm to 3.5 mm, and if necessary, combinations of different thicknesses are used for greater strength.
External galvanized stiffeners located on the walls of the silo transfer vertical loads of grain and own weight of the silo to the foundation, ensuring the stability of the structure.
